Re: Diamond payment?

WOW! You Canadians are getting good deals for the Diamond. Thats why I dont'e feel bad asking for more discounts from Sprint because I know they already jacked up the price anyways. Again.. no one has answered or taken a guess at one of my earlier questions. How much do you think Sprint pays for one HTC DIAMOND. My guess is about maybe 100 dollars. What do you all think? I know when you buy in mass bundles, then you get even a greater discount.

Re: Diamond payment?

Just ordered mine, billed to my account, $391 including tax-$100 MIR, total of $291. Don't know if I can make payments, but at least it means I won't have to pay for 3 weeks.

Re: Diamond payment?

I just ordered my through executive services (the office of Dan) and I was able to get it for $200 out the door. I did have some very legitimate billing issues that Sprint has been working to resolve since my billing migration.

Re: Diamond payment?

A few have gotten lucky with a 200 dollar price on it. So far I have seem most in the 200-300 range. Not bad I guess. Specially that some of us did not even qualify for all the rebates.

Re: Diamond payment?

Thanks to all the posts before me...
I just ordered mine at 3:30PM Pacific Time and your ideas helped greatly.Though I was a little hesitant putting up this post, but since I've been enjoying so much all your posts, I felt I owe you guys alot...anyway, here is the verdict!

549.99-200(instant)-50(supervisor's credit)-70(service credit)-~100(1mo free service-I have 3lines on my family plan account)-100(MIR)-(NO activation Fee & Overnite Shipping) =~29.99 + 28.87 (Tax) = ~58.86
.....and, if I can sell my touch with "Buy-back" program or on ebay...even better!

The final cost might not be the greatest, but considering that I had just upgraded my Touch in Feb. 2008 and wasn't eligible for anything... That's Why I was not so sure whether I was going to purchase the Diamond or not, though I really wanted to. But your inputs have helped tremendously...Thank you all!

Re: Diamond payment?

I was only eligible for a 1 year price, missed by 2 months. I called and they told me my total would be better than 500 after everything. Thanks guys for tellin me what works, I called the number mentioned on page 2 of this thread and told them how much cheaper an Iphone was and how much better AT&T's reception was where I live (we dont have ev-do). She immediately said that she could give me $200 off, to 350, plus mail in rebate of $100, to $250, and wave overnite shipping and activation, blah blah blah. Total before MIR = 379 and some change. After MIR 279.

Re: Diamond payment?

Sprint charged me 595$ for the phone
then they charged me 605$ so it equaled out to 1,200 dollars that i didn't have, I kept having trouble trying to get the payments reversed had to call the bank to help.
Sprint CS is stupid i had to talk to 6 people before i actually got everything right i don't know if anyone noticed but if you call sprint cs they will make you speak to an Indian person and their names are usually American lol i spoke to 3 Indian guys they had names like Bill, John, Michael hahaha.

Yeah, I had to sign a new 2 year but that doesn't mean anything to me. I've had 6 lines with Sprint since 2000. I'm not changing carriers. If I really wanted to be a **** I could've called retentions and gotten the phone for $200 and had all the rebates instantly. Not to mention I always get the 2 year rebate price even if I'm not eligible. I just signed a two year extension 11 months ago to get my Mogul. I just have a revolving contract that is eligible for the 2 year price whenever I want.
