I'm getting my Diamond on my work line because of the issues I'm having with the Instinct (which is not a smartphone I KNOW!!!) I called Customer Care and the Rep was really friendly and wanted our business. I am also getting the Diamond as a swapout for the Mogul which I had replaced 5 tines in 2 months for software issues so my Total Cost = $0 but I can say that I spent lots of time on the phone with Customer Care.

sprint offered me the moto Q9 for free, the samsung ace for free, another mogul for free, the touch for free or the instinct for free, i have to pay like 120 for the diamond. im kinda tempted to try to q9 for like 20 days and then get the diamond but i dunno. how is the q9?

I got mine for the grand total of zero dollars and zero cents. Canadian of course, so that converts to... um... carry the three... $0.00 USD.
I get a full upgrade from Telus about every 10 months. This time it was for a free data device on a 3 year renewal. Plus I had an old $25.00 credit on my account that I used to cover the change charge and voila! A free Diamond.

Sorry to burst your bubble there but your original price was $374.99. If they took $100 off of it that was an instant rebate (instead of you mailing in the rebate) which brings you to $274.99. You will be able to send in your mail in rebate but you will not get it credited. They will see the $100 instant off and deny the MIR. Anyhow, $274.99 is still good, you just added one too many $100 credits to your final price you gave us. And, yes, I know she told you you were still eligible, but hey, guess what, they lie. Unless you have a legal transcript or recording, they can say what they want.

I used to be a huge Q fan before the mogul, I had the black q and the q9m from Verizon, then I switched to sprint got the mogul and within my 30 days, I switched to att and tried the q9h, immediately going back to sprint in my 30 days and getting another mogul. the q is very nice, but doesn't hold a candle to ppc phones with touch screens and what not. although its much easier to dial and talk while driving and what not on the q.

Oh ye of little faith . . . Then again we are talking about sprint here. I'm still fine with that, since that was the goal of my call in the first place, but I still think the rebate will go through.
