Diamond payment?

I have SERo 30 month. I threatened adn said that paying over 500 for a phone is ridiculous since a new iphone will go for 200 dollars. i told them that I will most likely cancel my service for the iphone unless they can drop the price. The CS told me to wait and put me on hold. 1 minute later she said the Diamond is your for 249.99. I said i will take it! Also I did need to buy 2 diamonds so maybe that helped for me too.

FREEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!! just have to send my Mogul back, was able to convince advanced tech support to do an advanced exchange. He (Steven) is overnighting it to me too, so I should have it Thursday. The best part is that I get full rebates Nov. 1, 2008

Man. I've been on the phone all day. Telesales, Retentions, plain 'ol CSRs. Nothing. I get my $349.99 on 2/yr upgrade (which I can get on any phone anyways...) and the $100 MIR. They said they'd waive the upgrade fee (which my employee discount does aleady) and waive the shipping fee. But no instant $100 instead of the mail in and my other line, that was upgraded last November, is a complete no go.

So basically, I'd be:
549.99 + 349.99 (phones)
-100MIR
-$36 activation credit
- $25 credit

= Absolute suck compared to you all.

At that price, I just can't afford it. And She's sick of her Touch since it completely crapped out after the firmware update. Mine loved 6.1, her's just plain broke with it. :P

WEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!! Good news. I am getting the Diamond today! Looks like alot of ppl will too! But whats weird is.. in the UPD tracking page it says it will be delivered ont he 18th. But under it, it says this..........

Just got mines!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!! finally! After the agonizing 3 months wait!!!!! Now to jizzem all over it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well... I was just reflecting on my switch from the Instinct... and all the trouble it is causing me. I thought it would be a nice little story that would give people a laugh.

I have to call in on Wednesday when I get my student loans and pay $549 for my Touch Diamond. Then they will credit $200 to my account and I have to send the mail in rebate to get another $100 back. On top of that, I have to send my Instinct to Sprint to get $129 back, while I'm still waiting for my $100 rebate for the Instinct to arrive. Just to make things worse, I still have not received the $50 rebate for my Katana II I bought a year ago. So basically, on Wednesday I will have $828 of my money floating around Sprint, and a $116 phone bill to pay on Saturday. That is a total of $944 that I am instantly out of, only to get the Diamonds total cost down to $20 more than what I paid for the Instinct.

I don't believe that is "the only option the system will do." My roommate switched his Instinct (bought on release) out on Monday by having $20 billed to his account... but it is a business account, and apparently they are more important.

Fun Fun! I still can't wait to get the Diamond though!
