its official because engaget said it? their sources are probably as good as ours and even then we still have no idea whats going on because people keep saying different things.

wait their source is PC magazine? lol who is there source? its one big run around for you guys its sad.

for once Telus came through for me and the device was here when they said itwould be. (but i played with it a week before release thanks to friends at a telus store)

i agree that just because engadget, pc magazine, and yahoo news said its coming out on the 14th, its doesnt make it necessarily true. i would be more inclined to say that it is "OFFICIALLY" released when SPRINT releases the information to the public. i am still patiently waiting.....

I agree my letter from the managers showing no official date from yesterday will keep me skeptical on any release date, though this is the date I'd guess at saying it's official is kind of stabbing your self in the foot.

Don't forget that engadget.com also reported that the dimond was going to be released on Aug 28th, then retracted that story within an hour. So i don't know how reliable they are.

Speculation before was all over the place. There were at least half a dozen "official release dates" being thrown around from even more sources. Now it seems as though all the sources from publications and customer service have aligned and yet we still don't believe it? My educated guess is that it will be released on the 14th.

I am the first one that said that the 14th is the confirmed release of the diamond. Anyone wanna argue with that?
