I hex-edited 2 modules/files from the SYS to make the taskbars transparent as outlined here. Then I just adjust my bg4all mod for sense 2.5.2012 so that it lines up with the image that shows behind the taskbar/softkeybar (it's the wallpaper for the windows mobile today screen - stwater_640_480.jpg and stwater_480_640.jpg). In landscape, the sense wallpaper gets stretched to 640x854. I resized my 480x640 wallpaper to 640x854 and cropped the 640x480 area that lined up with 640x376 (sense wallpaper size). The cropped 640x480 picture then became stwater_640_480.jpg (landscape WM today screen wallpaper). This way the landscape taskbar and softkey bar (which are really just the top/bottom of the wallpaper behind sense) line up perfectly.

I hope that isn't too confusing . If you would like some help getting it to work on the ROM you are using, send me a PM with what SYS version you are using and a link to the 480x640 wallpaper you would like to use. The hex-edited SYS files are different for each SYS version, so I can't really make a version people can just install by a cab or something.

Thank you mwalt2 for your more than kind offer to help, the xda link, and your directions. I had a feeling there was more to your centered transparent landscape mode than just the SYS hex edits. I'll check and hex edit if needed, the proper sectors of the shell32.exe and aygshell.dll SYS files in amikam's 23551 ROM, as well as follow your great directions in regard to resizing my 480x640 wallpaper to 640x854, centering, and cropping the stwater_640_480.jpg image to 640x376. If it does not work for some reason here, I may take you up on your kind offer to help and pester you via PM, lol... Thanks again!

On a related note, yesterday, I did remove amikam's transparency cab, then installed your VGAHDWall Like Mod, and it fixed my transparency misalignment issue with the landscape bottom bar and wallpaper. Many thanks once again for all your extremely helpful posts!
