Re: I will defect soon!!!
Ya Sprint's Diamond only has 1 camera (the 3.2 megapixel one). The other one was a front facing VGA (640x480) camera, and has been removed. You also have 256MB RAM not 192MB.
But yes, it's an awesome phone. None better out there (yes the iPhone has a bigger screen and nothing else). |

Re: I will defect soon!!!
i may wait because the touch pro has a storage slot. 4gb of memory seems like it should be enough, but i'd like to have the option of adding more, with a memory card. dschoenike

Re: I will defect soon!!!
That is why I was thinking about just getting the Diamond. I have a 4GB card now and that is plenty...most of the time. I can't decide!

Re: I will defect soon!!!
I've used USBModem ($20.00) on the last 3 phones and never charged an extra penny.
A friend of mine has a stock Verizon Touch and uses it. If he uses it in Bluetooth mode a web page like you get at hotels for wifi access popped up asking him to sign up for thethering. When he used it with the USB Cable he just connected right through. In otherwords if Verizon can detect it, it immediately tells you (there may be other ways with other hacks). But USBModem has been so simple. I not had to change a thing on the PC, I just connect and click Dialup sprint and I'm on. I can switch between my wifes Q phone, it doesn't matter. It could not be easier. I never abuse the bandwidth on the device or when tethered. I don't use it enough to justify a plan. I may go 3 months without using it then need it for 3 days because DSL got knocked out something. As far as getting the phone I love it. But this overheating thing is SERIOUS and not acceptable.

Yes the Sprint unit supports tethering, all depends on services on your account. The Specs you have listed are for the GSM version. The CDMA version is almost identical to what they have posted here: http://www.pdadb.net/index.php?m=specs&id=1389 -CC
