No, TouchPAL is not free but after the trial you can still use it (with less options of course) The best 3 keyboards for me are : TouchPAL, Finger Keyboard 2 & PCM Keyboard (v0.14 and not the last v0.2x) You must try all to make your own opinion ![]() Last edited by RR33; 09-06-2009 at 12:57 AM. |

Re: Diamond Keyboards
Finger Keyboard 2 all the way for me. Well, until I can find another T9-ish 12-key SIP that's not glitchy with my current WM6.5 ROM.
On top of being compact, it has the most used punctuation accessible with no holding/swiping/ALT-ing which I can NOT stand. Sorry, but I don't want the friggin' period to require more button presses than the letter 'T'. It also supports haptic feedback and has a good quality 'clack' sound that isn't too loud to be obnoxious to other people with the phone volume all the way up, but is still loud enough to be heard in moderate noise environments. I did like TouchPal, and I really wanted to like it more than I did, but I really just can't stand throwing off my rhythm just to be able to use proper punctuation. What can I say... It's a realy pet peeve of mine. |

Re: Diamond Keyboards
I've tried out pretty much all the keyboards. After having used the iphone there isn't really anything that compares. The closest thing I could find was using PCM Keyboard with htctouchers iphone skin (for my touch). But since I got the diamond I need a vga skin, so I remixed a new version from scratch, it took me more than a few hours so I'm posting it in hopes somebody else will benefit/enjoy my (modified) work: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=85890
