Re: How to buy the Diamond

Launch Presentation may be just the "official announcement" date with a product sale date to follow shortly?

Just playing devil's advocate... I'd be glad if this phone came out tomorrow or the 2nd...because that would suggest that the Touch Pro would be coming out soon after (maybe a month like has been suggested)

This seems to be a new slide. the original one that engadget leaked on 8/19 did not include the $50 IR (instant rebate)... something tells me that this might come out sooner than later...

Edit: original article from engadget: http://www.engadgetmobile.com/2008/0...er-for-299-99/

Re: How to buy the Diamond

I emailed sprint again this morning and told them that I am paying 37$ because I also have TEP,so I should qualify for the 75$ credit. They said that my SERO is 30$ and insurrance is seperate, so I am still below the 34.99 minimun to get the extra 75$.

Re: How to buy the Diamond

My dealer plan that I've been on for the last 10 yrs is $15/mo. They never give me rebates.

Re: How to buy the Diamond

The slide looks a little photoshopped to me. Compare it to the original.

Re: How to buy the Diamond

Im part of the Sprint family. This is how it will work; depending how long you have had your currenet device attached to the same number Sprint will give either a $75 or $150 discount towards anY full retail price device with Sprint. (12-17 months $75 and 17 months plus, $150 discount. If you qualify for the full $150 and the device is offering an additional mail in rebate discount like for new customers than you are entitled to that also SO LONG AS YOU SIGN A 2 NEW YEAR AGREEMENT! I hope this will help.

Sometimes Sprint gives other customer loyalty discounts... I just wish I knew what they are, if I qualify for them, and how to ask for them!

Other dealers can verify that this slide was in the latest "dealer launch call" pdf. Btw: the Vogue is scheduled for End of Life in the next month. Sell yours before it happens.

There was a notice posted in the past couple days about Sprint not being as generous with things such as this. I can reread it tomorrow if anyone really cares for details. Their credit classes toughened up not too long ago as they are moving towards closing revenue holes and churn is bad for closure.
