Re: Htc Touch Diamond/Pro Multi-Touch
it does take two hands, one to hold the phone, and one to do the pinch. I much prefer the circle motion that I can do with my thumb on the hand holding the phone.

Re: Htc Touch Diamond/Pro Multi-Touch
Not only that, but you have to make firm contact with both fingers to get it to work. You can use your nails with HTC

Re: Htc Touch Diamond/Pro Multi-Touch
Multitouch on iPhones/iPods is nice, but their entire UI is designed around its use. Small buttons and pinpoint precision aren't an option with capacitive screens. Say goodbye to your stylus. Forget about Transcriber. Better not try to work on anything with too much fine detail.
Don't get me wrong, the iPhone performs well given those hardware limitations, but that is because it was designed that way from the ground up. I don't think a capacitive screen on a WM device would be a good idea at this point. For now, I'll stick with our "squishy" screens. |
