No idea in regards to the touch pro release, but despite missing the release date, Aug 6 was the date Telus issued a press release for the device.

Just one more week to go

I was on with a sprint tech today activating a 800W and asked him about the Touch Pro. His response was that the Diamond and Pro were going to be released at about the same time. He also said they have not had any training on the 2 phones yet and that usually happens about 1 month before a release.

I work in a futureshop in canada and we sell telus phone, we received yesteday(august 7) the telus diamond order. We have them in stock but need to wait until we can sell them.

Ask your manager if you're allowed to open one so that you can get used to its features in order to sell it!

I was in Canada exactly one month ago. And believe it or not, the dollar was LOWER than the Canadian dollar.

It was officially launched as of today. No one can confirm any stock, but it should trickle in over the next week.

I called FutureShop in downtown Edmonton today and they told me that they are expecting to get the Telus HTC Diamonds in stock tomorrow afternoon.

I've called the Telus flagship store in Toronto, The Eaton Centre Location, Markham and Richmond Hill... they all say "probably tomorrow".

Not sure what the hell the point of a release date is if no one has it in stock.
