TELUS HTC Touch Diamond: Release Date
Pure speculation; WEDNESDAY AUGUST 6th 2008

TELUS seems to receive inventory on Wednesdays, and there is a current promotion for heavy discounts on the original Touch (free on a 3yr contract), which ends Tuesday August 5th.

Thoughts?

While the phone was not released on the 6th, it was in fact the date we learned of the official release date, Aug 14, 2008.

[UPDATE 2]

Although you can not buy the Diamond, in any store (as of Aug 14) you can now order the phone online.
