Dang guys, what do you do to your music players that causes them to break like that? Granted, I've only had mine a little bit, but the previous owner abused the crap out of it. The slide off part of the casing has a huge chunk missing from the top right corner of the machine, and it was just the kind of person who loses everything but the stylus, battery door, and battery on day one. Some custom ROMs, toothbrush, and Simple Green cleaning fluid later, we are in reasonably better condition. If I can find any cheap, I may buy another battery door, a few more batteries, maybe even a screen faceplate (deep scratches all over it). The touch screen is on the verge of "your fingernail practically can't scroll because it gets caught in the scratch grooves on the screen" bad kind of situation. It lives on though, I take way better care of my stuff.

Re: What HTC Diamond are you on?
Still on my first Diamond. Got it new in box as an insurance replacement for a stolen
Sprint Touch/Vogue; I think that would have been about.... um.... 6-ish, months after the Diamond was released. Was still in almost perfectly new, mint condition too... until I dropped it on a cement sidewalk last week. :/ I think I cried. Retired it around December when my contract renewal was up and I got the Palm Pre. Cracked the screen on the Pre, so until my bank account says I can pony up the $100 insurance deductible, I'm back to the Diamond. +1 for auto-focus camera +80 for awesome VGA screen -50 for it not being WebOS. Hey, I like the flexibility of WM, but let's face it; WebOS is pretty damn good! |
