Re: Getting stuch on boot after flashing ANY 6.5 ROM
OK, just to clarify,
You have a PPC 6950, but your details say PPC 6850, right? Also, you are on Sprint? Which 6.1 custom rom did you use that worked?

Re: Getting stuch on boot after flashing ANY 6.5 ROM
I suggest you try running the unlocker again and then try your flash.
Also, have you tried using a different pc to sync and flash? That sometimes will help. You could try following the instructions in this thread: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=51508 Hopefully something there helps! Happy Flashing!

Install the Sprint "shipped" rom that we discussed yesterday. After it is installed and working, do a "clear storage" and make sure that it clears your internal memory storage as well. There may be something in internal storage that is causing the problem. Back up anything important in your internal memory. Once you've done all that try installing a simple 6.5 rom like MightyROM 6, located here ... http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=69551 ps I just spent 30 minutes reading through 11 forum pages of people with the same issue. They were almost all successful in fixing the problem. It's in the link the horndoctor suggested. |
