Getting stuch on boot after flashing ANY 6.5 ROM
 

I been trying to flash a 6.5 ROM on my htc diamond but everytime i flash a rom it get stuck on the boot.

i tried 5 different roms and all did the same thing. but when i put a custom or stock 6.1 it works fine.

by the way i the phone unlocked with the .57 SPL

i was reading around and been seeing something about using MTTY. does that help my problem and how do i fix it?

Your details up top say that you have a PPC 6850, which I believe is a Touch Pro. You do realize that this is a Touch Diamond forum, right? Just making sure ...

i clearly said its a HTC Diamond which is the same as the HTC TOUCH Diamond. so i think i am in the right forum sir and i can get my problem solved

Like I said ... just making sure. And by the way, Big Fella, you're in the wrong forum ... it clearly states that this is for roms, kitchens, and radios only.

well i been trying all the roms here and non of them is working with my phone except the stuck rom so i was wondering if i can get help

I'm sure you can ... there are lots of us who are willing to help you. Just don't be surprised if a moderator moves your post to the Diamond forum. Sometimes flashing several roms will affect your phone ... have you tried flashing back to the Sprint "shipped" rom, and then trying a custom rom? Don't know why it helps, but it just does. I do it routinely when moving between different system builds. You probably already know, but if not, it's located here ...

yeah i tried doing that many times but still keep getting stuck when i try to load any of the new 6.5 roms.

i even tried doing hard reset many times which still didn't help

When you flash, you get the tri-colored screen, and use USB, right? Have you tried renaming the NBH file and placing in internal storage and doing a Trigger Bootloader?

Trigger Bootloader = VolumeDown + BackArrow + PowerButton

Triggered Bootloader is what you use when you want to flash a rom from the internal storage. You just take a RUU_Signed.nbh and rename it DIAMIMG.nbh and place it on the root of your internal storage folder.
