Issue with not receiving a lot of incoming calls

I've got the same thing happening... I get a lot of calls that only ring once and go right to voicemail. It's really annoying.

I had the exact same problems as the OP a few months ago. I tried everything. As it turns out, I must have exposed the phone to some moisture / water at some point. The small white square on the bottom of the phone (under the battery cover) was no longer white. It was red/orange.

I gave up trying a software fix - it seems that the hardware was the issue. The phone is in a drawer somewhere.
