HTC ToUCH Diamond -Cricket - gmail setup

Hi All,

Well I have had my Diamond for a few weeks now and I like it, I would like it even more if I can get the Email to work and any help would be greatly appreciated.

all other features work.

Its hanging up on the sync process and wont confirm the email account.

Here are my settings for my Gmail account:


my name: cellcrackhead
incoming mail server: imap.gmail.com
account type: imap4
username: myname@gmail.com
password: password
outgoing smtp: smtp.gmail.com

okay then it says cant connect using these settings "tap settings" to change: "under Proxy settings"

I believe thats what I use its blank, this is what it looks like:

This network connects to the internet: "not checked"

This network uses a proxy server to connect to the internet: "not checked"

Proxy Server: "blank"

Any ideas?
