the diamond was slow for me as well.
Me too. Didn't realize it though until I went to the Touch Pro and then to the Touch Pro 2 (Both are significantly faster)

I was running MightyROM 4 Final on the Diamond.

Then I bought a TP that had MightyROM's latest 6.5 flashed to it......and it was way faster. Go fig.

Stock TP2 is faster then them all though.

Re: The Diamond seems slower than the Touch (6900)

I didn't even realize that this thread has gotten this long.

I started this thread to see if anyone else is experiencing the same issue.

I've had 3 post because I do my homework and don't post stupid questions that aren't necessary to clutter up the forum. Posting comments like yours certainly doesn't contribute.

wmdunn I actually just flashed to one of your rom and I have to say it's probably one of the fuller faster roms. I certainly appreciate ANYONE putting their time out cooking up roms and sharing it with us. I don't have time to cook my own rom that's why I really on you guys.

I've been PPC user since the IPAQ days so I really don't need anyone telling me what I no and don't know.

JQuill- Sorry to insult you or your Diamond but I don't get intimate with my phone enough to go off like you.

Look at the time of my original post, it was almost 2AM the last thing on my mind was complete paragraphs! Just surprise to see the amount of immature users on this forums.

Re: The Diamond seems slower than the Touch (6900)

I hope the diamond isnt slower than the Touch/Vogue, I am getting one as a replacement and I would have preferred another Touch but I guess its "that" old. I will be checking out ROMs as soon as I get it. This info helps and I dont even have it yet!
