Sprint wants like $15 a month I believe for the router function with the EVO, which I can do for free with wmwifirouter, not to mention, the manual $10 4g charge.

Rooted phones on Android have Wireless tether built in, and it works much quicker/simpler than WMWifiRouter.

I do agree the 4G charge is bad, but at least they're using it to expand coverage.

few questions on this

can you root any Android phone still? This is just basically like jailbreaking an iphone/ipod touch right? Also is this pretty simple to do??

Root is attained on virtually every major phone.

It's extremely simple, infact most phones are now rooted from a 1 click root available in the Market, and the ones that aren't are extremely easy to do.

There was a post from someone with 2 posts who was obviously spamming to sell some product. CarlaDarla edited my post to remove the quote which contained the link to said offender's site. hehe
