edited out a part that i was planning to post on another thread lol, btw i think the biggest flaw is that stupid lcd screen issue at the bottom like carla said.... and that annoying squeaky back cover, wouldn't hurt if it had more device memory as well tho

Phillip is right, I am using, and loving, a Palm Pre. I am going back to WM, but I am waiting for my ideal device to come out, which is the HD2 so I am hoping we get it on Sprint.

I still have my Diamond, it is actually brand new, never activated LOL. And no not a refurb, they sent me a NIB, which would be my second NIB (not including the original purchase) as well as 3 refurbs I believe. I use it to test ROMs and stuff like that. My back cover doesn't squeak, but it does come off way to easy.

Re: Diamonds biggest flaw

For me the biggest flaw is that there isn't enough room on the main storage, the lack of an SD card slot and the lousy camera. If it had all that, I wouldn't upgrade until something mind blowingly new came on the market.

Re: Diamonds biggest flaw

The miniUSB port does suck, and mine just stopped vibrating... but to me the biggest flaw is the fact that its just basically a glitchy device. Will the buttons work this time? Maybe, maybe not. Maybe I'll push the Phone/Send button and it will go to the phone... or it might go to the Programs screen! Maybe it won't let me close programs with the buttons, or go directly to the Home screen.

I had a PPC6600 before this, and grew equally irritated with these tiny hardware deficiencies... are all HTC products like this? Should I reconsider trying the Evo?

Re: Diamonds biggest flaw

for the many flaws that this phone has, I still don't want to upgrade anytime soon, mostly cause I will lose a lot of features my winmo phone can do that an android phone would cost extra for me to do.
for example
Sprint wants like $15 a month I believe for the router function with the EVO, which I can do for free with wmwifirouter, not to mention, the manual $10 4g charge.

i'm just not ready for my bill to go up another $25+ a month

I agree, 3.5mm would be great, along with video out and a storage card!

I don't find that little $2 3.5mm headphone adapter to be that big of a nuisance... (the tiny kind you get on ebay for $2, not the big boxy thing that also includes video out). Yes, a storage card would be nice, but 4GB holds a fair bit of music if you compress it right. Movies, not so many... (about 200-300MB per movie, so you only get about 10 movies). I just wish the screen were a little bigger...

Verizon got the Diamond *with* the storage card slot *and* the Imagio... too bad that Sprint got neither...

Re: Diamonds biggest flaw

I hate the lack of a 3.5mm headphone jack... and that it is laggy when using the face buttons. Otherwise I still enjoy using it. Got another few months left till I can upgrade.
