Re: Vibrate only function?
I believe that the what you are looking for is - to turn on the vibrate feature - then use the audio rockers and lower the volume down until it changes from ring to Vibrate - this is what I do and it just vibrates for new emails and phone calls...I think it does SMS/MMS messages as well.

Re: Vibrate only function?
yes, just turn the volume down...before it goes completely silent, you have the vibrate option (the icon with the slashes on the side is vibrate )

Re: Vibrate only function?
Wow, now I feel dopey! I am used to my old touch pro with the separate vibrate, or most phones having it automatically vibrate when you turn the ringer off.
Thanks guys! == ETA: I just tried it. If you turn off vibrate in the ringer settings, then you dont get the vibrate option at all. BUT when I turn it back on, then the phone vibrates with every keypress etc...which is what Iwas trying to avoid. =( Last edited by techprincesse; 03-31-2011 at 04:58 PM. |
