Re: Touch pro 7 (touch pro 3 but rename) EPIC FAIL

[QUOTE=bobturismo;1979628]That's what I kinda figured, they have no reason to release another keyboard WP7 phone for a long time. Not that I really want to wait for apps to boot back up just because I turned the screen off for a sec.

At this point, I'm holding onto my TP2 as long as I can until something better comes along. I may buy an Epic if 4G comes anytime soon here, but have no other reason to get another phone.

QUOTE]

Yeah I cosign to this! I'll be hanging onto my TP2 until something better arrives in the WP7 flavor. Hopefully by the end of next year when my wife who has the Epic 4G, will be due for another $150 instant rebate. Then I can get the phone on her line and then switch my number to it!!

Actually, they are fairly neutral...they just have 1 or 2 people who are pro apple and always end up doing the apple product reviews...

They gave two devices a 6, two devices a 7 and two devices an 8, seems fair to me..or were you expecting a 9? as for the BB..which one are you talking about the Torch? if so that thing has outdated hardware >.>

There is a button on the bottom that says "Full Engadget Experience"..you click it and you will never get redirected again.

And also..I just took out my TP2, opened opera and went to engadget..I never visited engadget on my phone and it took me to engadget.com..no the mobile site redirect :/...do you have your TP2 set to mobile or desktop?

and what did they give the iPhone4 when it first came out? probably a 9 or 10 despite its hardware problem that apple had done little about. and i have my IE set as desktop this is the only site that redirects me.

The Evo got a 9 out of 10. So did the iPhone 4. You can see them here

They gave it a 9 and they gave the Evo a 9..but as I said..the person who generally reviews the Apple products is pro apple...thats 1 or 2 people...

Also..if your using IE..then you SHOULD be redirected to the mobile site. IE has problems...hence everyone on winmo uses Opera or another browser.

Edit: So you know, when they tried it, there is a possibility they didnt run into those issues when doing the review..simple as that..read their review about WP7 and what cons they put for it..they actually tried the devices and the scores they got are fairly decent in my opinion.
