STorage space and storage card issues.

Storage space and running mult. programs. I installed a number of programs spb pocket plus and spb phone suite to device memory. Can these programs be reinstalled to the storage card? Will installing to external media slow my ppc down? I find that after a clean install of WM5 I can barley add my own progs to the phone due to storage space. I only have about 150 contacts and a whole bunch of appointments to manage.
