sure, you can uninstall them and then install them to the card. be aware of any plugins they may use that may want to display on the today screen as you could see a temp lockup or freeze when yhe phone is off and you turn it on. this is due to the card reader 'sleeping' and then 'waking' up so to speak.
what rom are you using that after a clean install of WM5 you are not getting enough room to install your apps? I use the rom in my sig and after install I have about 35mb of room to do whatever with. there are other roms that will yeild the same results.
