tiermann,

This application is amazing and huge time saver - thanks!

I'm having an issue with the calibration. I set your software to skip calibation, but the calibration was so bad after a hard reset that I want to disable that feature. I've tried and tried, but can't get it to let me calibrate. I even deleted the .exe and config file and reinstalled the software, but nothing seems to be working. Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong?

[Calibration]
syncTime = "False"
setSkipAutorun = "False"
setTZone = "(GMT-05:00) Eastern Standard Time"
setPreCalStylus = "False"
setSkipWelcome = "False"

[Autorun]
setAutoRunCfg = "\Windows\Config.txt"
setAutoRunExe = "\Windows\Autorun.exe"
ConfigTxt = ""

To get proper calibration:
After you calibrate your device manually, you need to export [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\HARDWARE\DEVICEMAP\TOUCH] and then copy the "CalibrationData" setting over the old one in the rgu. Then your screen will be calibrated just like you did it yourself every time. It can go in "Additional Reg Entries" as well to override the default.

All you have to do if you don't want to skip calibration is:
1) uncheck "Skip Welcome" and "Pre Calibrate Stylus"
2) Click "Create OEM"
3) Check the new OEM instead of the old one in buildOS

One of those steps you're leaving out.

Weird. I just rebuilt my rom without using the OEMizer and I still didn't get prompted to calibrate the screen. Any ideas? I'll post the question in the Build OS thread as well as I'm really confused. Thanks for version 1.2.5. This thing just keeps getting better and better!

I ended up reinstalling both the kitchen and OEMizer and all is well. I have no idea what was going on.

Have many been able to use the Exchange server feature. I tried been haven't been able to get it to work. Two issues for me.

1. My server doesn't use SSL. After installing (being careful not to check "SSL") I can't get anything to work. I'm get an error am prompted for a certificate which I shouldn't need. I tried to get into the setting to see if SSL was on or off, but the option isn't available.

2. I'd like to sync tasks. That's not an option in OEMizer which is fine. The problem is that I can't add tasks later. The option is simply not there.

Weird - I just tried this again and still no dice. For some reason, my exchange server won't work when I pre-install settings with OEMizer. When I do them manually, it works great.

Has anybody using exchange and non SSL gotten this to work?

I don't use an exchange server myself, and MSDN doesn't give an option for tasks for provxml so I can't add it yet.

What I just found out though is that the tasks option will only show up after you sync with a server that supports tasks. Then you can edit the exchange settings. (Thanks to Luv again)

Can anybody confirm that tasks becomes available after syncing with an exchange server that supports tasks?

Also, anybody have any luck using OEMizer to save exchange server connections with a server that does NOT use SSL? I've tried and keep getting prompted for a certificate.

I set up mail2web earlier today (uses ssl) and it's working fine. I was able to set up tasks after the first sync.
