Re: 4mb, 6mb SD / SDHC Cards on PPC6700/WM6??

I haven't tried it, but I have a kingston 2GB and it has worked great, and exceptionally well. Just don't bother trying to reformat unless you are doing it on your pc. For some reason, Windows Mobile Reformatting the cards, causes data loss. I have never had any problems with my card, and, have it constantly filled up with over 1GB of media files.

Also, I really love how well it is working, because, thanks to WM5torage, I am also using the 2GB as a removable flash drive, and with absolutely no problems.

Re: 4mb, 6mb SD / SDHC Cards on PPC6700/WM6??

Thanks a lot Guys:
I installed the 777 cab and it recognized my Kingston 4gb mini sdhc card I bought at meritline for $16.99. It didnt really recognized it by plug and play but I looked in memory and under storage it reads 3831.06 which means its basically seeing its there.
Keep it up guys!

Re: 4mb, 6mb SD / SDHC Cards on PPC6700/WM6??

Okay, just thought I would confirm the Classes of cards supported... Based on reading this thread, it appears Classes 4 and 6 have been confirmed to work on the 6700 with the new drivers... Do we know if the slower Class 2 cards work?

In a general way, I would think everyone would want to buy a Class 6 card (for the fastest write performance) assuming there are no issues with it being too fast... (Bigger Class numbers are faster)

4 GB non-SDHC cards should work. Better get one quick, though; they're getting harder and harder to find.

Re: 4mb, 6mb SD / SDHC Cards on PPC6700/WM6??

I'm currently using a 8 GB class 6 card from ADATA. Got it at newegg a month before the prices dropped, but still not a bad purchase for 40 bucks half a year ago. Anyhoo....works great, had to slow down the transfer rate as I got clipping on my music. When I installed one of the SDHC cabs I could only acces 4 GB of the card through the PPC. When I cooked my rom with the kitchen and included the SDHC option in the rom, i have full access to the 8GB through the PPC. Love it....can't wait to go to 16 or 32 GB if/when those cards come out. Oh yeah running WM6.1.
