I would build a new ROM from this kitchen, and select SDHC drivers. You are then assured you have the SDHC driver set with the proper transfer rates. I have a Sandisk 6 gig card and its flawless! Steve |

Re: 4mb, 6mb SD / SDHC Cards on PPC6700/WM6??
Has anyone tried the 8GB Class6 Patriot card? It seemed like a good deal, so I ordered one, but I'm just curious if anyone can confirm it works ok with the 6700.

Personally, I highly suggest this solely because of the adaptors. It ensures you will use it with whatever HTC gives next for SD Format in XV-6900.

Re: 4mb, 6mb SD / SDHC Cards on PPC6700/WM6??
I haven't tried it, but I have a kingston 2GB and it has worked great, and exceptionally well. Just don't bother trying to reformat unless you are doing it on your pc. For some reason, Windows Mobile Reformatting the cards, causes data loss. I have never had any problems with my card, and, have it constantly filled up with over 1GB of media files.
Also, I really love how well it is working, because, thanks to WM5torage, I am also using the 2GB as a removable flash drive, and with absolutely no problems. |

Re: 4mb, 6mb SD / SDHC Cards on PPC6700/WM6??
The main thing that I think is the problem, is if you were to take it in for repairs. Nothing is different between how they activate a WM6 and WM5 PPC Phone; or at least I don't think there is a difference. You should be fine, but if not, you can always flash back and try again. I don't even know if you need to worry about it, you can just flash to WM6 after activation, right> (I don't have any experience with that carrier, so I can't be for sure.) ?
