The real fix for MS Voice Command and Wm6 rom

I have button 5 on my Mogul mapped to VC, using this method it works just fine. It recognizes my response and dials the voicemail contact I have setup. For the heck of it, I then deleted the Plantronics, and added my old Jabra BT 125. This headset did not work at all. It was discovered and setup, however when I attempted to kick off the VC with the headset button, it did not function, no matter how many taps long or short. If I held it to long, all it did was redial the last number I dialed. I have also installed only the ID Transfer, which does route my custom ringtones through the bluetooth headset, along with text message notification and email notifications.

So the question for me remains, is this an issue with Microsoft, Sprint, HTC or Plantronics? I've also heard about a ROM upgrade due to hit on 10/22 that allegedly is supposed to fix Bluetooth problems, along with other issues, but that's just what I've seen on the net...

Personally, sounds like you might need to wait for the update, then re-post after you have tried that. We have a new fix coming up to the forums here in a few that addresses the bluetooth issue better than the whole ID Transfer idea. But it is still in testing, so I can't promise a release just yet. This fix may also fix your problem, but Like I said before, I would find out for sure about that upgrade coming on 10/22.

What is the link that I can look at the talk's about this new upgrade release, cause maybe I can find out exactly what they did to fix this issue, and release a fix so ppl will not have to do a new flash.

HTC's site for sprint doesn't refer to any new update other than the one they already have posted, which only has the Music Store update (my Mogul has it already). IMO, I don't believe the problem is with the bluetooth device, I belive it's an issue with Microsoft and their voice command software. It would be interesting to see if the headset works with just the plain voice dialer that comes with the Mogul, which I may experiment with later.

Try this we just came up with it.
After some work a 1 cab fix is upon us. First thanks to helmi_c, LennySh, HTC, and Naigaman for the magic .dll Without your work it would not be possible.
First this has been tested for Apache with WM6 without voice command installed. Just install the .cab (voice command is included) and pair your bt headset and you will good to go no other steps necessary. No IDtransfer Just VC and fix all in 1 cab. caution this file ^ put me into a boot loop and i had to hard reset, after hard reset i attempted to reinstall this program and it cause a boot loop again 2.17 rom. proceed with cautiondo not use with mogul

oh, man, found this thread too late - same thing happened with me - endless reset loop; luckily I backed up with spb before i installed the 1 cab fix ...

BUT it stopped working on my Mogul.

I deleted my Cardo Scala 600 and paired it again and it now works "sorta" because VC responds when I press the answer button on my BT headset, BUT VC doesn't seem to recognize me when I say "yes" or "correct" to confirm its selection!

....all this is to correct WHAT problem exactly? MSVC on my gadget seems to work ok........other than it don't recognize some names when I say them......

When I try to extract the files I get an error message that the file is corrupt. Can anyone help me with this?
