No worries, I was just in the mood to be a smart@$$ this morning. I'm glad you have a good sense of humor.
Pricewise I'm debating if it's worth it to get a 4gig SDHC card for $40, a 6gig SDHC card for $80 - or if I should wait. I had an old non-SDHC 4gb card, but the reliability (or lack thereof) was killing me, so I've put it away. I'm using a 2gig card, but as a result, I have no music or movies on my phone right now. i have a brand new one i purchuse during this sale. I will sell it for 40 shipped cause i didnt pay attention, i need a micro not a mini. i have a mogul and saw this price and just jumped on it. i havent used it but like an idiot i opened it. pm me

4 Minisd problem
I don't know what the deal was but when I installed the 4 gig minisd, my 6700 would not find it. Nor would my laptop recognize it. I then called the stamped company name on the card (kingston) well they told me that they do not carry such a card. I called buy.com and told them about the card and how it is not reconized by kingston. They said that they would send me another one as soon as I sent mine back. I then told them you guys are going to send me another 4 gig minisd that is not recongnized by the supposed maker. they immediately said we will refund you your money sorry for the problem. I don't know if this card is a fake but I know I still have it at my house and it is not recognized on any PC I hook it up to. If I am doing something wrong let me know.

I'm willing to bet:
1) Santito kept referring to a mini SD card instead of mini SDHC causing confusion at Kingston. 2) He didn't install the SDHC drivers on the 6700, and his card readers are not compatible with SDHC.

I have to agree with you- SDHC drivers are needed in order to access the card. Its like installing a piece of hardware in your computer with no drivers... No bueno. As for the Microsd. Love the fact it is 6 gig, Im just bumbed knowing that I will eventually go to the Micro when I upgrade - some time in the near future. Cant justify the cost of the micro... $30 for the Mini- that is doable. oh- math wise... Im still Stuck in 6 grade.....

installing drivers
Can someone please help me with how to change the name from .zip to .cab and how to get the drivers installed once that happens? As mentioned before, I changed the name, transferred to main memory on my 6700 and when I use 'file explorer' and click on the file, it will not recognize it as a .cab.

Move the file over to your PC... Change the extention to .cab Then move over to your phone- Should work. Changing the extention via phone doesnt seem to work. You have to do this on the PC.
