Im sorry, I didnt realize this post was dealing with WM6. I am using WM5. I dont even have the HTC plug in as an item to check in my list of items. Its just not there.

I have selected live messenger from Helmi's kitched when I cooked the rom. But once i run the live messenger program for the first time, it goes thru the setup procedures, then it works great until I soft reset. then it hangs. I have confirmed this 3 times.

soft reset works great after i burn the rom, and do a hard reset. I can config my 6700 with everything and soft reset works.

Once i setup live messenger, it works smooth till I do a soft reset... then it hangs. I have to hard reset to get the phone back.

How would we go about completely uninstalling the HTC plugin beyond just unchecking the option in the Today/Screen/Items? When installed with the WM6 Rom of course.

I had this same issue w/ WM5 using the 1.0.4 kitchen.....as soon as I would start Live the 1st time & configure, it would hang on the next soft reset.

I had this same problem using WM6 too. Further more, after not setting up Live, and installing WeatherPanel, it would hang on soft reset, but it may take 1-3 days b4 happening, and not the 1st soft reset.

All configurations included HTC Home. Since my last hard reset, I have not setup Live, & have not installed WP, running clean & green since.... 10 days & counting

My first lockup was this past Friday. I was on a 3.5 ROM without the HTC plugin installed at all. I do have WP, and have had it for a while without issue. I also have Live installed, but wasn't using it. I was reading some RSS feeds, and the phone started acting up, so I reset it. That's all she wrote. After 10-15 resets, it started working again. I reloaded with WM6 (I figured I needed to reload anyway, perfect time to try it). I loaded WM6, reset a few times, no issues. Loaded all of my apps again, and it worked for about a day, and then it locked up (this time, I had both the HTC and WP loaded, but not active at the same time). I gave up on WM6, and went back to a new version of my 3.5 ROM. I got it configured (no HTC, but WP). I wasn't long before it hung up again. I reloaded again. Again, no HTC, but WP active, and live loaded but not active. I reset a few times, and let it sit a bit. I installed a couple apps, reset a few times, and let it sit. Knock on wood, I'm currently running again and have been since Sunday morning.
