Is there a way to get call on both ears? And also have right and left for music.

get a new headset. Most of the sony ones are really good. That motorola has poor sound, battery life, and as you just said only plays cellphone messages in one ear.

I tried it and knew it to be crap about an hour after charging it.

Get something else. Or accept it's limitations. The sony alternatives aren't any more expensive.

Aside from opening it up and going at it with a soddering iron you've got yourself an S9... Enjoy...

As I said, I bought one and was able to return it back to the store before the return policy expired (got it at best buy). I then went to Fry's and picked up a my current headset which is a million times better.

You can't really do anything about the way the S9 works without opening it up and redesigning it... which is so far beyond my skill set it isn't even funny. Best of luck with it.

Might I suggest eBay?

Sorry I don't have anything better for you... I was very upset with the S9 myself. Unless your time and energy isn't worth much I suggest you move on. Either be happy with the S9 or sell/replace it... I wish I had better news for you.

Maybe someone else has deeper knowledge of this issue... but whatever it is will likely eat up hours and hours of your time. I don't know what your salary or wage works out to on average per hour... but it's worth it to think about how much of your time you spend on the thing.
