seidio GPS kits?

Few questions. I am thinking about getting one of the GPS kits from seidio but am curious if one, they are worth it, such as the ones that speak, are they audible or more annoying?

Is the mounts able to be mounted in say a cup holder? In my CTS the cup holder is in a perfect spot to mount a phone mount and use it for GPS (mainly if it talks so I dont have to look down).

Does anybody ACTUALLY have these kits and can post pictures of thiers?

I've got one, but not from seidio. There are alot of choices that are less expensive than what they offer. Google bluetooth GPS. I travel for work and have an iTrek M6 with iGuidance and a windshield mount. It does talk to me and is not annoying. I cannot live without it and only cost me about $160 and $15 for the windshield mount. You will not be sorry if you decide to pull the trigger IMHO.

I have an ITrek Z1 with iGuidance and a Sedio G4600T windshield mount. The mount has sterio output and it's own internal speaker or you can do what I do and hook it into your cassete deck with one of those $6 "play it through your stero" adapters. I play music off the phone while using the GPS and yes it does talk and is incredibly accurate and I couldn't live with out it anymore. The windshiled mount lets you slide out the keyboard while mounted but does NOT let you use the sedio rubberized case which is annoying since after all they are both sedio products.

I purchased a "bundle" package from semsons and got a pretty decent markdown. I just checked and you can pick up a bundle for about $140 with the ITrek Z1/iGuidance/Free Mount for $139. You can "upgrade" the mount as well and a cup holder one appears to be an extra $10...the sedio mount is MUCH more expense, and although I really like it, I probably would opt for a cheaper one if I had it all to do over again.

Oh....you can turn the "talking" off it you don't like it, put it really is usefull and not that annoying at all....especially if you miss a turn or something!

I can't say anything for the mounts, but I think I will probably get one pretty soon. I have had my GPS unit from them for about 9 months now, and IMHO it works great! I've used it with iGuidance, Navizon, Google Maps, Live Search and GPS Tuner. It works well on all of them. I really like iGuidance. As avatar1961 said, it is very accurate. Edit: It also works great with Helmi's WM6.

I have the Sedio G4600T wih stereo output and love it. I had originally bought one for my iPAQ HX4700 and it really made the Bluetoth GPS useful for navigation. When I finally switched to a converged device (PPC6700) I bought a Sedio mount for it right away. It was twice as expensive as the HX4700 one I had, but it was worth it. I use it every day to listen to music and streaming XM radio (Musicdock) and streaming podcasts (hubdog). It actually mounts nicer than my old iPAQ one, as it accomodates the extended battry of the PPC6700 and is a one touch hookup...just set it in the cradle and all is hooked up - power and sound.

One thing to be aware of is that if you are using it in 90+ degree days in a car that sits with it's windows up (read 130+ degree inside temps) - I found that whatever holds the mini phone jack in the cradle gets soft..and if you are not careful when putting your phone in the hot hot cradle, it can push down/out the mini jack. - I fixed it by grabbing it and pulling it up when hot....before putting it in the cradle.
