I would personally like to see a "Core" kitchen, meaning no optional OEMs at all. It would save a lot on download time and just be cleaner for those who don't need/want the additional packages or primarily make their own.

If I was Helmi, I would say "You'll get your kitchen as soon as my donations reach 1 million." I personally only donated $10, which is far cheaper than a 6800. I think those donations need to keep coming in. And if he releases the kitchen in the next couple of weeks, I will probably shoot him $50!

A core kitchen would be great, hell I would settle for a core rom without the extras that where in the first. I can't tell if some of the program problems I had where WM6 or conflicts with the included extras.

wasn't too long ago when everyone here thought WM6 might not be coming to the 6700 AT ALL. And now we're talking about when the kitchen will be out -.- ....

Thanks helmi!

One thing I want to know, is are we going to have OEMs for the newer software which is available on the 6800. Specifically, i mean the camera software and the SMS/MMS software that's factory installed on the Mogul.

Yeah, no more of this crashing business we're accustomed to seeing.
When I drop it, I want it to hover 2" off the ground.

While that sounds like a simple request, there are 10 "give me everything" people for every 1 "give me as little as possible" person. The other part of the equation is that if we're going to support it, it helps to have everyone playing from the same music. Plus, you can always choose to not install the optional stuff - but I haven't seen a rom yet that didnt' have _anything_ from the optional list.

Personally, I think the first release of the WM6 kitchen will likely include all the optional stuff updated to current versions.

WM6 Kitchen

The WM6 Kitchen Should include as many optional installs as possable this is the point in the kitchen so that you can choose what you want and don't want. I just hope it comes out soon.
