I'll start. All of the Alltel phone numbers, and where they go:

800-219-9636 - Alltel Service Cancellation (the best number you can call)
800-ALLTEL-1 - Alltel Customer Support
800-ALLTEL-2 - Alltel Retail Activation Center
800-ALLTEL-3 - Alltel Telesales Department
800-ALLTEL-5 - Alltel Calling Card Calls
800-ALLTEL-6 - TDD/TTY
800-ALLTEL-7 - Alltel Calling Card Calls
800-ALLTEL-8 - Alltel Customer Service Center
800-ALLTEL-9 - Alltel Telesales Department
800-ALLTEL-0 - Alltel Repair Center
800-662-4960 - Alltel TDD/TTY or TT service for the hearing impaired
877-776-9205 - Alltel Network Upgrade Helpline
800-332-7590 - Retail Activation Center (RAC)
800-525-5835 - ACP
800-679-5781 - Financial Services
800-761-3179 - PQR Support
866-230-0863 - Indirect Support Group
866-299-4039 - Data Tech Support
866-299-4042 - Advanced Data Tech Support (Smartphones, Blackberries)
877-249-2687 - New Accounts & Customer Service (Business)
877-397-8462 - Technicial Support
888-386-8113 - E-Wave Support

The following two numbers I got myself from a little social engineering. Both are to two separate Alltel call-centers. If you know your reps extension number you'll be able to get them back if you get disconnected:

866-435-4775
877-564-5530

Also, useful information, the "rep number" that the alltel representatives give are either their extension number or the last 4 digits of their social security number.

https://agents.alltel.com/myCircle/index.cfm is a backdoor url to update the "my circle" numbers in case the main website is down. Also that link is "smartphone friendly"

http://www.consumerist.com/consumer/...ice-255668.php is a link to the script that the Alltel reps use when you try and cancel. That is helpful if you want to try and get extra services out of them.

Although not neccesarily pertinent to the PPC-6700, the following are the WAP, MMS (never got it working), BREW settings, etc.:

Extended NAM Settings (these are the settings for connecting to the Alltel network for voice calls):

OK, I'll chime in:
http://www.the-answerman.com/sidlist/prl/index.asp

It's my archive of Alltel PRLs along with instructions on how to install them on a 6700.

Quick background:
The current "official" Alltel PRL for the 6700 is 30008. This PRL, as well as the previous "official" PRLs for the 6700, does not allow EvDO roaming on Sprint... 1X only. However, you can use 40007 or 40023 on your 6700, and either will allow you to roam on Sprint's EvDO network. 400xx PRLs are actually the PRLs used by the data cards, and have recently been pushed to some of the Alltel smartphones like the Moto Q and Treo 700WX, but not the 6700 for some reason (probably having to do with the 6700 being EOLed).

If you are always in a native Alltel EvDO area, these PRLs won't do you any good... but if you travel, or if your area is still 1X only, you might want to give them a try.

Hmm... the post count didn't go up when I posted the above. Just testing to see if there's a forum bug.

I've been also working on an MMS solution through Alltel's MMS servers. I have, at one point, gotten it so that I could send MMS messages but not receive. Have you tried calling the advanced data group?

Cool I Can Open The Pixs

Ok I got it to work.. I use the setting everyone uses, but I changed one think go to UI then go to Domain. Then type http://( your phone# ).alltel.com/servlets/mms?message-I'd=. Now right before alltel you can us dot or @.. Now you can open the pixs, =BUT, they will only be 2K.. I can't send yet. If you guys can get it. Post up.. I hope this helps you out
