What are the exact settings you are using to be able to receive the small pics. I can't get mine to do anything. Should send/receive work? It say's error synchronizing. I went and looked at a 6800 today, and looked at the server settings, but I could not get the alltel guy to leave me alone long enough to install a registry editor so I could export the reg, and send to mine. The biggest problem is the fact we need that program which is Arcsoft Pics/Vids Version 3.0.26.9. Mine is Arcsoft MMS Composer 3.0.6.22. The second problem is in the registry. If I would have thought about it, I would of sent the Extended Rom unlocker to the phone, and triied to extract the cab...

I tried to get both off of a 6800 at an Alltel store, but the guy wouldn't leave me alone long enough to get it. I did get a look at the server settings, and the program version. It's Pics/Vids 3.0.26.9 by Arcsoft. And the settings are below:

Server Name: Alltel MMS
Gateway: mms.alltel.com
Port Number: 8080
Server Address: http://mms.alltel.com/servlets/mms
Connect Via: The Internet
Sending Size: 300K (Not an option on my program)
WAP: WAP 2.0

That is off of an official 6800 from Alltel. Even had a pic in the Inbox. Let me know if this helps. I'm sure you probably already had this.

I'm thinking we're missing something from the registry. I've also tried to leach the settings off a PPC-6800 at an Alltel Corporate store and the sales associates there are like sharks. They absolutely won't leave you alone. It is worse than a car dealership even!

Hopefully someone from this site gets a PPC-6800 so we can spend some time looking at the registry and associated files.

How did you do it exactly. I'm new at the whole mms thing. Can you walk me through the process please. I'm using helmi's wm6 rom with 1.41 radio on the alltel network.

I thought about do it, but it said "Use at Your Own Risk!" SO I decided against it.. Maybe I'll do it later.... Do you have a registry editor on your phone?
