Phone (XV6700) not ringing when receiving calls.

I'm a Verizon XV6700 user running a Helmi_c 3.5 1.0.1 Kitchen ROM. I have been noticing quite a few "missed" calls. The phone does ring, but when I answer, the call has already gone into VM. I have asked the people calling me "how many times did the phone ring before I answered", and the answers vary. I have also on occasion, noticed the phone "light up" and the phone icon appear at the top, several seconds before the user id is displayed or the phoen rings.

Has anyone else been experiencing this, or is it just me? -Thanks,

Cant say I've had that happen to me. Don't know a real fix for it, but I do suggest cooking a new rom with the updated kitchens. There have been 2 kitchen revisions since then, hopefully some of the added patches and fixes should stop that.

Another thing you should make sure of is that your ringtones aren't big files and aren't on a storage card. If you're using MP3's of a full song it takes a while to load it. Cutting them down to 30secs and reducing the quality really helps with that.

Just an idea. Neither of those things might be true for you, but some have had the same end result you're getting with big or storage carded ringtones.

Thanks for all you help. I did have my ring tones on the storage card (althought they were not full songs). I also re-flashed my phone using the 1.0.3 kitchen. Not only is my phone "ringing" in a timely manner, my batter life has improved 3 fold. (Using the 1.0.1 Kitchen, Wireless Sync was killing my battery).
