i just went ahead and flashed to the r3 rom.... yea, it came with the newer mms composer, but still having the same problems...

the data connection was set to "My ISP" so i had to create the "Verizon Wireless" connection to dial #777.... it connected just fine but the mms just stayed in the outbox like every other attempt.....

how did you get it to work?

this is what i do...

http://ppcgeeks.com/verizon-mms-step...led-t4470.html

you have to do the reg edits, you have to make a new #777 connection and you have to change the MMS settings. then...it works. make sure you add the X-VzW-MDN as a string not a dword or it wont work. i have had 3 phones now and always works each time.

Those steps will not make 4.04 usable on a 6700. It needs to be re-written to use CDMA. So far, no one has hax0red it and no new CDMA version has been released of ArcSoft MMS Composer.

Same problem with the 3.5.x version in that R3 rom, which is why it was removed in the next version of the rom.

Registry settings are not going to cut it. We need to wait for a new version.

no this does work, atleast for me, on the R3 version, which is what the last posts of the thread was talking about. agreed I have not gotten this to work oh arcsoft v4, but the version (?3.5) does work on R3.

just thinking...what arcsoft does the titan use? that is cdma no?

anyone seen helmi around, maybe we could get how he got it to work on his R3 version so atleast if some of us wanted to we could try. I had gotten it to work except the video playback of 3gp doesnt work and i think he knows how to fix that too...really want to step up to the new rom but cant stand the old arcsoft after having a new version.

So far no carrier has released the Titan with any MMS software at all. It was the same with the Apache with the exception of the Verizon unit which had the version of arcsoft that we're still using successfully today.

The Verizon Titan is not released yet... so real ETA either. I think they delayed it so it could launch with EV-DO RevA.

Helmi is on vacation right now... he doesn't have any of his files with him so you'll have to wait until he returns to see if he can help.

In addition he can't test MMS because the Apache he's using has a busted radio.

oh...well he deserves a rest. Its not an issue of sending MMS, its just an issue of playing the 3gp files. when u create an MMS with a 3gp file, it wont play the file. it shows up as a wierd icon. i think there was this problem before and i think he fixed it. well guess i can wait...hopefully someone can pass this information on for me...id be appreciative fyi, its the mms from his R3 release that works, and i put the arcsoft he has in his ftp into the new rom and it worked but had the video problem...thanks...
