I have had a horrible string of luck since I have owned my 6700. I have had it replaced for loose sync ports 2 times, I have had 3 which the reception has went completely out on them, and two that just went completely dead at random and refused to turn on again for any reason.. So even with all those replacements, Sprint does not feel obliged to upgrade me to the Mogul. As a matter of fact, they would much rather sell me a Mogul (at full price) even after experiencing countless issues with the 6700. I just told them no thanks, I already bought one 500 dollar device that doesn't function all the time... not so sure I want to be the sucker and buy twice.
I mean I cannot even get a replacement 6700 without hassles right now... I drive truck for weeks at a time, and its rather difficult for me to get to a Sprint store in a 75' long 13 and a half foot tall big rig. On top of that, the Sprint stores have to order replacement 6700's and since I am never usually in the same place very often it doesnt make sense for me to order a 6700 in say Indianapolis - knowing that I may never show back up there to get the phone! Yet they refuse to just ship me a 6700 with a return kit so that I can exchange it when I get home... I called my local Sprint stores and they all told me they won't order one until they look at mine and deem it broken - even though I have an E-Ticket in the system from an Indy Sprint store showing it needs replaced... So this leaves me in a bind all around.
I am very unhappy atm with Sprint's (lack of) support of this device... they should be better prepared to help their loyal customers who can't just drop everything they are doing and wait in one place for 4 days to get their phone replaced...
