Look at the thread
http://www.ppcgeeks.com/helmi-offici...,start,30.html For fixes like: "TEST_Phoneext_service.dll_from_Apache_AKU2" for OEM_Phoneext_service.dll ... Which in this kitchen it's in the SYS folder. |

Well I'm trying it now.
Strange thing for me - I can't see my extended ROM folder. I tried installing the prepacked ROM for sprint, and tried building my own. The 'unlock extended rom' icon - if I click on it nothing happens (I don't see the little 'success' thingy') Anyone have any suggestions? I've made sure resco is setup to see all hidden files and such.... kinda sucks - I want my 10mb back! hahaha |

internet sharing with bluetooth is working great for me in this version, I read that it didn't work in the last release, never tried, but it works here! I didn't notice mention of removing the weather plugin but I think it's not there, I kinda liked it, did I just miss it or is there somewhere to get it? awsome work here |

Thanks; Probs with WModem
JBabey-
Thanks for an amazing ROM. It (for the most part) just works. Great job. One thing that I have noticed, though, is that WModem does not work like it should. Specifically, when I hit Start on WModem (USB), and then try and plug in my PPC, my computer looks for a driver called "Generic PPC (Remember to change idVendor)" (or some similar name). It does not recognize the usual WModem PAM driver. This issue does not exist in the kitchen, as WModem works great. And, when I use Internet Sharing (instead of WModem) in your ROM (that is what I am using now to type away this post), there is no issue and internet connection works great. Any thoughts for how to fix WModem driver? Thanks. |
