Is anyone else randomly having the phone reset itself to vibrate?
I'm pretty sure that it has to do with the HTC home plugin. Edit: I've found more information via Google / PDAPhoneHome and an updated build of the plugin that doesn't suffer from this issue on XDA developers. I cant post links yet. |

I installed this on the 11th or 12th its now the 20th and I'm on my 2nd hard reset! The only thing I'm messing with in the registry is "data block size" and "FatFS Cache" and ReplStoreCacheSize.
Works great until it freezes completely on the "Windows Mobile" splash screen. Any ideas?

OK so I reflashed to the Sprint stock ROM, hard resetted a couple times, made some calls with it and realized how bad I missed the old ROM.
Now I've got the OEM extrom2. I flashed back to this ROM, hard reset twice without letting the customizations run and individually installed what I wanted. I thought phoenix06 said all the customizations were baked in, but I'm not taking any chances. I changed the EVRC settings back to enabled and the Slot Cycle Index back to 2. I'm not touching the registry this time. I think my frozen PDA has to do with a cache setting. So far; so good, but it took 6 days for it to lock up on me this last time. BTW I had 0 issues with v1.0.2. Of course I hadn't figured out my MSL back then... I'll keep posting my progress. |

Need help - No incoming calls
Hi all,
I'm new to the forum, but have been reading and installing ROMs over the past 8 months. For the past several months, I have been running Kirvin's 3.5 ROM and had very few problems. I wanted to get windows live and try out some other ROMs so I installed the Phoenx06 Sprint ROM. I also updated the radio. First impressions were great. A day or so later, I realized I was receiving no incoming calls, voice mail notifications, or text messages. Outgoing calls and data worked fine. I assumed this was due to the radio update, so I re-loaded the old official aku2 sprint ROM. That included the radio (don't recall the verison). This did not solve the problem, however. I then took it to a sprint service center...and they installed an updated radio (and I'm sure other things) which fixed the issue. With no fear....I reinstalled the Phoenx06 Sprint ROM and again received no incoming calls. I then installed Kirvin's 3.5 ROM but having the same issue. Any thoughts? Hse anyone else experienced this? |
