For what its worth, I just received a NEW replacement 6700 from Sprint (backlight went out). They still have plenty of stock, so don't get your hopes up. They also gave me heavy pressure to buy an upgrade to a Mogul. IMHO, Sprint is REALLY sick of supporting the buggy 6700.

I've had 3 brand new 6700s out of Sprint (well, 2 out of the store and 1 via. the mail replacing a lost unit) in the past month. I'm doing what I can to run their stocks down

They are not listing them on their site anymore so maybe closer to moguls for replacements?

I would agree... All the rumors Ive heard from random people and sprint employees is that they have a good 20,000+ 6700s waiting to be used as replacements or new sales...

The phone I got as a replacement was a refurb but appears to have been one of those "broken right out of the box" types where it never got used at all... Because it was in brand new condition, Or perhaps they just yanked it out of the retail box and sent it with a sprint OEM battery...

EDIT: Nvm its a refurb for sure, just did the ##786# to check... Whoever made the first 4,000+ calls on this thing took incredible care of it...

It looks nice because the manufacturer replaces ALL cosmetic plastics when they refurb a device.
