Palm Threaded MMS (Pix/Flix) Works with Helmi's AKU 3.5 rom.
 

Upgrade to Helmi's new AKU 3.5 core rom. Install the palm threaded app, and it will now work. The difference I've found to be in the registry, with the addition of a new "PalmOne" key with an MMSStack sub key, and values that tell the phone how to send MMS.
On previous ROMS, when I would try to send a picture message, regardless of the settings, the program would close down. Now, it completes, but gives me the error message "Originator Address Not Found." I had this with Arcsoft's app as well, it is a result of the MDN not being set in the header. For Arcsoft, I had to input X-VzW-MDN in to a the key MMUA under Arcsoft's keyi n software. However, I have no idea where this program picks up the MDN to put in the header of it's messages. Help, someone? Perhaps someone with the program natively on their Treo can do a registry search for MDN, and see what value Palm's app looks for it under? That would be fantastic.

I don't use Helmi's Rom. But, can you post the new reg key(s) & other new additions you've found that allow you to send mms via the Palm app?

Here is the extra key. It goes in HKLM/Software. Mine shows up right under the original palm key. Put this in, and try to send an mms. Make sure your settings are configured properly.

Still doesn't work for Sprint... get the same old Version cannot be supported message that we get with the newer Arcsoft MMS.

I take it that these apps are sending version info about themselves to Sprint's MMS server and the server is rejecting the MMS because it is not getting version information it likes.

Is this informtation that it is sending in the reg somewhere, or is it hard coded into the app. If hard coded I wonder if it could be changed via hex edit?

It doesn't work for Verizon either. Getting same message as Luv2chill . . .

Man, I would just like to receive pix and videos and sounds physically to my phone. I hate the fact that the pix i receive are TINY....wish there was a fix for this (without using opera & mortscript)
