Programs to include in a new rom?

Alright like u may have already seen. I plan on working on my own rom. And utilizing the extended rom to the fullest. So I need to know what do yall find as necessary programs. Just the base programs, and freeware at that? I'm thinking magic button or some task manager. mms hack and........anyone? or anyone know a better free task manager. cuz I know some don't like magic button....but I personally love it.
Thanks for any suggestions,
Mike

install dynamo as an option to magic button, as always siriusCE should be in there maybe, but i am not sure since it gets update so often.

GsPlayer would be nice, as well a PHM Regedit

I vote for Magicbutton. It's easy enough to shut off when it gets in the way.

Another program I like a lot is pwrstat. It's a inobtrusive battery and memory display (it takes up one row of pixels at the very top of the screen and is one of the few apps I've seen that works well in flip-mode).

I definately vote for all freeware. I was very annoyed by the payware crap that came on my phone.

EDIT: I vote for PHM Regedit as well. I assume this ROM is meant for people that know what they're doing (or at least can BS it well) .

Yay to bad resco isn't free so I couldn't include it. Dark the battery indicator at the very top? if so magic button has that option too if u didn't know and this rom should as doing the orginal upgrade.

I never could get the one it came with to display. I found pwrstat on accident. It actually displays above the taskbar, at the margins of the screen, taking up no space on the taskbar.

Oh, another one if space permits, is Wolfclock. It's probably too big to be included in the ROM though.
