I haven't seen it/used it so I'm not sure. I cant acces the ftp from work right now, I'll check it out later. I'm not sure what files it has in it compared to mine, and I haven't used that one, so I can't promise that one works correctly though. However, I've used mine on my own phone, and know that it works properly. So, I'll look at the differences, but mine works, so I'll stick with it

In reading the posts, it seems like the fix is to simply re-run the APACUpgradeUT_noID.exe file - I've done this 4 times in a row with the same result.

I'm very confident that that my PPC is in boot loader mode - I've flashed the ROM 10-20 times at least, and it ready USB - Version 2.02 once I plug it in to the USB cable

FYI, the 'Upgrade' screen (where you click 'Upgrade') has the image version, extended image version. and Radio image version fields completely blank on both the 'from' and 'to' sections. Is this normal?

I'm using the Colonels final 3.5 ROM for Sprint - I just reloaded the ROM this AM. I'm wondering if perhaps this upgrade won't work with that ROM loaded?

Anyone else seeing these issues and/or have any ideas?
The feilds being blank is a normal thing, thats not a problem. I'm not sure what could be going wrong though. Just some food for thought though, my bootloader version is 1.02, so maybe 2.02 doesn't work with this. Anyone have any ideas or suggestions?

And from all of you that the upgrades has worked for, what are your bootloader versions?

Another thing, are you trying to do this from Vista?

My bootloader is hit and miss if I use a USB multi-port. For a while I was having a huge headache trying the USB port on the side of the LCD monitor. Finally connected directly to the pc, and it worked.

Error 150

Hi Pheonix - Props and thx for the quick reply as well as all of your efforts here... FYI, my laptop is Win XP Pro SP2, all updates etc etc etc.

Not sure wassup with these errors - are there other Sprint users out there who have got this to work? Other Colonel 3.5 ROM users?

I'll post again if/when I learn more... JKT

Another thing that should work.
Since you reloaded your ROM this morning, you obviously had some version of the files that where able to upgrade your phone.
Go to that folder from Colonels final ROM, and copy the file that you used over to the Phoenx06 Radio 1.41 folder.
ROMUpgradeUt.exe or APACUpgradeUt_noID.exe.
That should do the trick. I've done this several times when I had issues w/ error codes.

FastRX8 is correct. If you have used a RUU file before that you know works, you can swap them out with each other. Just don't delete any of the other files, lol

I am up and running on one of the original Sprint (red logo) phones. Upgraded it this afternoon. All went well with the upgrade and the phone is running great so far with the new radio. I updated the the new 3.3 firmware Tuesday of last week and the phone has been rock solid. It should of come this way when Sprint first released it.

Sorry for the horribly noobish question. I just upgraded my radio (I think), how do I check the version number to verify that it worked? Thanks.
