Are you using Vista for the upgrade? I got the same error. I had to use my XP machine & it upgraded fine. Although I did come across some hacks to get it to work on Vista. Involved killing the new Vista Sync Center process and some other stuff. Wasn't worth the hassle for me.

Had problems trying to update using Vista, got Error 150 , wrong device, move the file to my old XP computer and it worked fine, appears to be a Vista problem. Verizon xv6700

Welcome to 2008 but where were you when Vista first came to the world and everyone had issues with it back then? Vista has ALWAYS been an issue.

I need help... I have upgraded from 1.41 to 1.43 bacause I was having problems with signal loss. Now that I have upgraded I am still having that same problem. I have upgraded my phone to hemli's 6.1 rom and ever since then my phone only works for a little while then it gets stuck in search mode. I uploaded the original sprint rom back on my phone and it works fine without a problem. I have also used prl 1041, 1040, 1007 and 1050.
What am I doing wrog??? Can anyone please help??

Seriously? I don't know that there is a difference from 1.41 to 1.43. I saw no difference between them on two different Apaches.

If you are having issues with the helmi ROM, try Lenny's rom. I switched to lennysh's 6.1 and it's nearly perfect.

Still getting the error message that this is not designed for this update. But when I look at my system information, there is a "none" in front of the radio. So would this work for it or am i trying in vain?

Yes you are in vain, if it says none next to radio when you boot up it means the radio isnt not detected (I.E. hardware failure) and so you cannot install software for something that isnt there, working correctly or detected. Your device must be replaced.

BTW, radio version 1.43 is the latest for the 6700

I'm having intermittent issues with the Radio (stock v.1.14 from Telus). On some soft resets, when the splash screen pops up it will sometimes have R NONE where it usually has R 1.14 ? And either it hangs or it boots up with no radio.
It's not always but from time to time after a soft reset.
Running 20755....Also noticed that my phone still has the Telus crap in the Extended ROM called : SNAZ ... something, would this affect anything - should I clear out the ext rom? Or leave it as is? no effect?
Any help would be appreciated.
