Hi guys. I built a clean WM6.1 ROM with build 20755. It is fast and stable. I have put the .nbf files in and RUU for easy flashing for you. This is a Generic ROM so it works for all carriers. It's a good idea to hit the reset hole before OEM customization runs. Thanks to the PPCKitchen team.

How to flash:
1. Put phone in bootloader (Power+Record+Stylus in reset hole)
2. Plug in phone to PC, don't use hub or cradle
3. Disable Windows Mobile Device Center USB connections if on Windows Vista (read below if you have issues with Vista)
4. Run excutable in RUU folder
5. After flashing is done unplug and Hard Reset (two soft keys and stylus in reset hole)

Important, if you are getting an error PLEASE follow my guide and my thead on "kitchen trouble with Vista". It will almost always help, if you have issues after that then ask for help.

When you put your phone in bootloader (Power button+Record Button+Stylus in reset hole) you will see USB or Serial at top and vX.XX at the bottom. The screen will be dark so you might need a flash light, match the number with the istructions above. You used ROB Mayers clean WM6 awhile back I saw, so NoID RUU should be good for you.

Hard reset aint gonna do it. Are you on Windows Vista? If so try my guide on what do if you have v2.02 bootloader. I am sure this will work for you, my device is bootloader v2.02... keep trying, you'll get it.

It's not the ROM. It's the RUU. Let me try and use the RUU from Rob's ROM...

The one for v1.00 should do. v0.32 is super old. It is hard to find an Apache that still has that on it. If you really wanna upgrade it though flash a stock AKU3.3 ROM with the bootloader upgrade.

but ya phone in bootloader mode and the v.xxx number is your ruu.to put in bootloader mode you press note,power button at the top n the soft reset hole all together

Hi I bought my Utstarcom xv6700 [HTC] verizon off ebay a week ago, it came with WM6.0 preinstalled. I tried to install your WM6.1 ROM [v1.0.0 bootloader version] and i keep getting the County ID error. How do i resolve this issue?

Use the one for v2.02 then. It has NoID. Are you sure your's is v1.00? v1.00 should give Country ID errors.

Yes mate , i tried v2.0.2 but it says its not compatiable with my device.

And my when I set to bootloader mode

it says:

USB (Or Serial)

Thanks for your efforts. I have bootloader 1.04 and using ROM VzW 3.3 I got the Error: 120 message (country code) after trying to load 6.1 and now I am stuck in bootloader. Time to search that issue and clear it.
First time flashing a phone but I have done other types of devices before eg motherboards, CD/DVD burners, cameras etc. But yes I am a "newbie" here.
Current ROM VzW 3.3, BL 1.04

Awww. Yeah Country ID can be quite a problem. And NoID will not work with 1.04 I don't think. It can be reverted to 1.02 though...
