Music is for Mp3 players... I need a 4gb card to cram more then 2 movies on my PPC :P

Shaun of the Dead + Coreplayer = Win!
(Soon to have Hot Fuzz as well as soon as I get around to converting it to PPC friendly format)

Not all 3.5s are the same. This new kitchen is 3.5 but what really makes it special is the updated apache drivers (including the SD card) so it is definitely worth a try to see if it works!
Finally got around to flashing the kitchen then had to find my SDHC card.

Doesn't work. Tried the Trinity SDHC drivers (sdbus.dll, sdhc2_2410.dll, sdmemory) plus the SDHC registry settings CAB, but it didn't work. I had to do a few minor reg mods to get it to even try to load the SDHC2_2410.dll, but no luck. The problem appears to be in the sdhc1.dll/sdhc2_2410.dll file. The sdhc1.dll causes the system to hang on inserting an SDHC card. The sdhc2_2410.dll can't load properly (task manager says that it cannot find the file referenced when trying to start the device - though it doesn't say it can't find the fiel or device referenced). I think that sdhc1.dll obviously can't handle SDHC cards and although sdhc2_2410.dll can, it may be the driver for a different SD slot. Does anyone know the manufacturer and model of the SD slot, and more importantly, if there is a WM6 device with the same hardware that the driver dll can be extracted from?

I have a 4gb OEM MiniSD card I got off of ebay a while ago. I had that card working in previous flashes of Roms 3.1 and 3.5 and now kitchen 1.04 has made my headaches go away for now at least.

Meaning in the past I have had to place a dumb file on the 4gb minisd to trick the PPC to believe there is a 2gb card I would only be allowed to view the 2gb out of the 4gb (WASTE)

With the new kitchen 1.04. I tried just placing a little over 700 mb of music (no movies tested) and they were spotted in the library using the HTC Home media player. They played and havent been erased yet by the phone if any changes do happen I will post back.

hm

I didnt read all the pages of this post so slap me if Its already been proven or made known.

But the Dell Axim X50v is an older device with only SD capabilities up untill now. With Maglite making WM06 for it it also gave us a driver update to use SDHC with my axim (which is the only device in the hosue atm that can use it lol. Got a 4G for cheep but nothing not even my computer card reader can read it atm lol)

Im not certain but maby WM06 has added that support but I dont know for certain.

I have a Toshiba 4gb sdhc that has been working well with my xv6700 for the last 2 weeks. I had to install a patch to enable it to work though (no unwanted side effects so far though) I got the file from this link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...=310456&page=4 Only problem is that I haven't been able to take pictures using this card. Apparently the xv6700 camera can only work with cards up to 2gb capacity. Does anyone have any updates/fixes for this?

Add 2+MB of media files to the card so that available space is <2MB, then the camera will store to it.
