I was able to get the calltone link (with id) by going to this site with proxy connection.
http://vm.sprintpcs.com/Manage/mypor...ontentCatalog? Once there i clicked on calltones and I got an error, but the url was the exact same as my bookmarked calltones. I then switched back to non-proxy, cleared my cache and cookies and hit enter on that same url and poof back to my call tones. So again.. try these steps: 1. Setup a proxy connection under the My Work Network. Finish setup. 2. Go to advanced and press the select networks button. Change the top selection to My work network. You data connection will auto disconnect if connected. Hit ok, ok. 3. Set your pie agent to blazer. (see reg attachment in page 1 post) 4. Goto http://vm.sprintpcs.com/Manage/mypor...ontentCatalog? 5. Click the calltone link. Bookmark the url even though the page comes up error / white. 6. Go back to non-proxy connection (reverse step #2) and original agent. 7. Clear pie cache and cookies. 8. Reload the url in pie. Ok, now for whatever reason.. I don't have to switch back to the non-proxy to get past the calltone link.. I'm not sure if that's because of cookies or what. But it works! |

Proxy?!
What is the deal with setting up the proxy. It seems like there are 15 places you can find to enter the proxy info but none of them seem to stick for me!
What am I doing wrong? I enter the proxy address hit ok, it closes that screen, if I go right back to it before I close the connection manager it looks like it sticks. But, when I go to ie or anything and come back the proxy info is gone I know I have to be doing something wrong here. Anyone have an idea what? |

Registry :
What are you using to import? Make sure your regiistry has this first line or it won't import. Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Internet Settings\5.0\User Agent] @="Mozilla/4.0" "Compatible"="compatible" "Version"="MSIE 6.0" "Platform"="Windows CE" "UA-Language"="JavaScript" "Desc"="Default (Windows CE)" [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Internet Settings\5.0\User Agent\Post Platform] "Sprint:PPC-6700"="" "PPC"="" [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Internet Settings\5.0\User Agent\Templates] [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Internet Settings\5.0\User Agent\Templates\Same as Windows XP] @="Mozilla/4.0" "Compatible"="compatible" "Version"="MSIE 6.0" "Platform"="Windows NT 5.1" "UA-Language"="JavaScript" [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Internet Settings\5.0\User Agent\Templates\Same as Pocket PC] @="Mozilla/4.0" "Compatible"="compatible" "Version"="MSIE 4.01" "Platform"="Windows CE; PPC; 240x320" "UA-Language"="JavaScript" Proxy: Mine does the same thing. That's why I do it as mentioned in my last post. (1. Setup a proxy connection under the My Work Network. Finish setup. 2. Go to advanced and press the select networks button. Change the top selection to My work network. You data connection will auto disconnect if connected. Hit ok, ok.) |
