Call Tones
 

Is there anyone possible for the PPC 6700 to download call tones. Any assistance is greatly appreciated. Thanks

if you're referring to the music your callers hear while waiting for you to answer the question is no thats something thats done on the network side of sprint similar to voicemail

there is gotta be a way to do so. I remember before i switched from my 9000 i had several call tones applied, and when i finaly did the switch the call tones still worked until they expired, and i wasnt just able to purchase them........so there is gotta be away, they just havent really tried making it happen for the 6700 users me thinks :roll:

Is there anyway of tricking the Sprint to think you're using a Treo 650 or an other vision capable phone to get call tones!

again unfortunately no...one thing you have to understand this device was not intended for the trendy metro types...this is a business first device and they would think of calltones as being not professional. This time they finally got it right Function over form!!!

i am not a big fan of the call tones. but some people like it.

here is the solution u have to switch to a regular phone for a day add the call tone then switch back to the 6700 and it will work rennyn and toidi have both done it.
