I've run into a small annoyance with this ROM (not a deal breaker by any stretch). When I go into my Today settings and change something, it will occasionally freeze. However, a quick soft reset takes care of that. Had this been the AKU 2.2 ROM it would be annoying but since it reboots in under 10 seconds, I don't care anymore .

How do you reboot in 10 seconds?? Mine still takes a while to reboot (35-45 sec)...Not that it really matters I guess since I have only had to do it a couple of time since I put this rom on it..

Man, that would really help boost the appeal of WM if this thing would reboot in under 10 seconds! Somehow I doubt that'll actually happen anytime soon....Maybe once we get the Marvell 1 GHz processors and some very fast access NVRAM in our phones then we might see it.....

I beg to differ... what would actually help the appeal of Win Mobile is not if it reboots in 10 seconds but rather if it is stable enough not to require 10+ reboots a day.

Wow, if you need to reboot that many times a day and you are not installing new stuff or doing ROM development then you've got bigger issues. I have only had to reboot a 1/2 dozen times in the past few weeks....so the stability of WM is almost there....the speed isn't yet.

Same here... my 6700 is now my wife's and she doesn't even know how to reboot it so she's been using it for 2 weeks now as a phone, BT, MSN Mail, contacts, Slingbox, general PDA stuff and no complaints. Goes to show that us "power" users sometimes expect more and therefore cause ourselves more pain pushing to the limits. But that's the fun part!

About the new kitchen.... If the new kitchen has the 3.5 core and the 3.3 drivers.....Because we are sticking with the 3.5 core from the previous kitchen, does this mean we wont have the active/inactive icons for the data connection or will it carry over from the 3.3 drivers?

You probably have programs installed on your Storage Card that run on startup (like Today Screen Plugins) Try booting without the Storage Card installed. If it boots fast, you just need to figure out which programs are running and move them to the Main Memory...

sorry, I was just exaggerating (probably should have put a smiley there ). I just timed it and it's about 25 seconds from when carrier screen.

with no card in it still takes 10 sec to get past the sprint boot screen and another 15 to get past the welcome screen and about 5 sec to finish loading today screen...
