Anyone able to add/find inetnet connection sharing (PAN)? Are we missing just the main file or are more parts of it missing?

Sounds good helmi, ive got just the os rom running, and the new bt stack is fantastic for sound quality, best ive heard yet from a ms stack on our phones. so a new kitchen will be rockin, I'd love to get the updates icons, and such back with this base os rom.

Keep up the great work and ill be looking for it!

Luke

Not sure I understand. Are you saying that, even after removing the files Luv identified ( bl_g3.nbf and bl_g4.nbf ) we'll still lose our ability to flash other ROMs?

No at this point the easiest/best way to flash this rom is to open it up with winrar, extract out the nk.nbf, and use an older version of the apache flashing app to install it. Use the NoID app if you get the country code ID (or if you know how, use the HTC64 tool to decode and re-encode the ROM with the correct Carrier ID string for your device... then you can use the regular apache flashing app).

Doing that will allow you to use the new rom without any danger to your bootloader.

Thanks. I have rare freezing issues with the R4 ROM (I actually think its from running Claunch, not the ROM) and want to see if an "official" ROM experiences the same issues.

I don't know how to re-encode the ROM with the correct carrier ID string. Is that just a matter of changing the carrier ID in the HTC64 tool to SPCS_001? Or is there something more to it?

I would take Helmi_C's advice and wait untill
he finishes his custom ROM

but if u cant wait....

---------------------------------------
**DO THIS AT OWN RISK!!!!

----------------------------------------

unrar the installer

extract all the files

delete :

bl_g3.nbf
bl_g4.nbf

(NOTE: If these are FLASHED, you will unable to downgrade)

Take the "nk.nbf" file and put it into another
ROM flasher (Ex: Colonel's ROM install folder)

Boot into serial
Install as Normal

You should be updated to the newest rom

Completely STOCK, nothing extra

(thanks to luv2chill for the help)

Edit by luv2chill: I removed references to the radio.nbf. I don't advocate anyone using that radio yet unless they are very experienced (in which case they will know how to flash it). Thanks.
